2. National Institute of Design (NID)

The National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the pioneers in design education in India. It consists of three campuses across India – Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bangalore. The Bangalore campus was set up in 2006, with classes commencing from the academic year 2007-08. The campus primarily serves as the Research and Development wing of the institute.
